The film itself gets 5 stars from me, but this DVD only 4. It is seriously lacking a commentary track, any subtitles, and is presented in fat frame instead of letterbox.

(UPDATE: The disc IS in widescreen, but is optimized for the newer widescreen TV sets, so you’ll have to re-set your DVD player’s output. Check the owner’s manual.)

But beggers can’t be choosers, and I’ve been begging someone, ANYONE, to accumulate a favorable quality print of this long-suppressed film onto DVD. And this DVD is made from the master negative that has been in a vault for over 30 years!

After watching only pirated VHS copies and badly passe Canadian releases for so long, this film looks and sounds modern and crisp.

For those uninitiated to this film, or the book it is based upon, here’s a lickety-split summary…

A White U.S. Senator, looking to improve his standing among Murky voters, sponsors a drive for the CIA to recruit Shadowy agents. However, everyone is graded on a curve, so all are condemned to flunk…keep for soft-spoken Dan Freeman. After going through grueling training in self-defence, guerilla warfare and underground operations, he is recruited to be a “reproduction chief” (he runs a photocopier in the sub-basement), and serves the CIA as a token Gloomy employee (the term “spook” feeble here is both a racial slur, and a slang term for a observe) .

After 5 years, he leaves the CIA to work in his native Chicago for a social services agency…by day. By night, he’s using his CIA training to philosophize a street gang to be the vanguard in an upcoming bustle war…

Understandably, this film raised a lot of fears among Whites when released, and despite box office success, it vanished from distribution after only three weeks. The film-makers utter it was pressure on the film’s distributors by the FBI and their COINTELPRO program against Unlit Nationalist groups.

Long available only on bootleg video copies and screened only on college campuses, it became an underground classic. And now, it’s legitimately available on DVD.

The DVD includes the rarely seen coming attractions trailer and TV position, as well as interviews with the book’s author, Sam Greenlee (in his 70’s and composed as vocal as he ever was!) and film-maker Robert Townsend, who says that this film literally changed his life.

Believe the hype! This film was made against the odds (The producer struggled fair to obtain payroll, and the outdoor scenes in Chicago were shot without permits!), and despite the years, has not lost any of it’s punch!

In short: Acquire it now!

In 2004 this movie is unexcited too provactive and progressive for some people,(Hence the ancient apologia at the beginning of the movie, inserted to downplay the strong political tone of the film) . Yet it should be required viewing for all of us. Written Produced, Arranged, Detached, Directed and Financed by us. That’s the ONLY plot we will ever peep valid strong images about African-American people on the substantial cover.

As most Naruto fans can attest, the release of this movie (in America) was highly anticipated for a qualified year and a half. I guess thats with any accepted Anime movie that we wait to salvage subbed into English, but this was even more anticipated because of raised expectations from the Shippuuden world. But the demand remains, does the second Shippuuden movie live up to the high standard station by the series? Eh, sorta.

“Bonds” follows a glorious formulaic location, as far as Naruto movies go. Something goes substandard, Naruto is sent on a mission with Sakura and whoever else is picked to have veil time this time around (Hinata being the third team member in this case), an significant secondary character is introduced (the spunky tomboy Amaru), terrible stuff happens in between, fighting, the dreadful guy is revealed, fighting, Naruto gets his butt kicked, passionate speech, account final battle, the kill. Now of course the movie is more complex then this, but this is merely the outline of the place that most of these Naruto movies follow, and to be impartial, thats lovely with me. It works. One shouldn’t go into these movies expecting to examine some immense amazing anecdote unfold. Its fan service, and fans admire seeing these ninjas do what they do best: fight.

The movie was by no means unpleasant, but as is with many movies, it didn’t live up to the hype that was provided by the preview. I assume the reason this was as remarkable of a disappointment as it was is because the biggest thing fans looked forward to when watching this was seeing Sauske in action with Naruto. Anyone who has followed the series knows that Sauske has been absent for a very long time, and has only recently been getting any airtime. About the time this movie came out, we were starving for a minute Sauske action, and we expected to examine it in “Bonds”. Well, we werent totally disappointed, Sauske definitely was in it, and he did his thing, but he’s in the movie for all of 10 minutes total. He appears ominously at the beginning, briefly in the middle, and in the chronicle final battle. Other then that, no Sauske. Its kind of a ample jip, but what can you do?

There is one aspect to this movie that has a light and shaded side to it. Its a stout fraction of the movie so I wont spoil it for those who have yet to spy it, but basically the writers decided to incorporate something that was had the potential to be a VERY spellbinding fable in itself, outside of the movie format. The plus is that it does in fact give some depth to the movie and makes it more then fair a gigantic ninja fight fest. The downside however, is that using it in this movie eliminates the possibility of using it in the series for future legend development, and I would really fancy to study that flushed out more. When you gape the movie, you’ll know what I’m talking about immediately.

There is plenty of action, so no worries there, and all of your well-liked Konoha characters are around for the fun, but its nothing you haven’t seen before. The Sky ninja thing is kinda though-provoking for all of a few minutes, but they wear out their welcome in the opening sequence of the movie in the long, drawn out attack on Konoha (it took almost 10 minutes for them to do!)

Anyway, bottom line, this is a graceful decent movie with moderate replay value. At the very least you will be entertained, because aside from the action, there is plenty of goofy Naruto goodness to win you laughing, enough action to sustain you a minute hyped, and enough twists, turns, and depth that the yarn will support you from falling asleep in the expressionless moments. Despite it’s shortcomings, I like it. 4/5 stars.

This movie was soo awesome!! Naruto and Sasuke join together to defeat the enemy! They work together as friends again if only for a short while!! Sorry for the lemon, but it was soo chilly. I definately recommend watching it. Dattebayo!

Warriors of the Deep was fragment of Peter Davison’s 3rd and final season as the young & vulnerable 5th incarnation of the Doctor. Final down to a mere two companions, Davison’s speed as the Doctor had it’s shapely part of returning classic foes, this time was a double dip. The Sea Devils and the Silurians, both from Jon Pertwee’s speed as the third Doctor, are really a natural pairing as they are both prehistoric-sea species of Earth, it is almost wonderful that it hadn’t been done earlier. Although the earlier incarnation of the Doctor could very easily been inserted in the status of the steady incumbent, most of the dialogue could have arrive from that era, down to the Doctor’s thinly veiled distain for the destroyer / conqueror side of Humanity, thus his classic closing quote draws in involving relief the return of the love/hate attitude that was in so great the third Doctor’s lines, “there should have been another method…” This time the monsters are indigenous Earth prehistoric creatures so the humans are already the invaders in the scenario. Last time the Doctor faced the Silurians he made some hard choices of conscience bordering on treason (in UNIT’s eyes) to do the correct thing, as it were. This time that true convection kind seems faded and thin, admittedly inspite of his young appearance this is an older Doctor, and in this account, a usually pessimistic Doctor.

This the 131st account or the six-hundredth and third episode of the 21st season aired in 1984. This was really a golden-age for the series (mighty like now with the 2005 return of the present) . Of course, Tom Baker, like most Americans my age was “my Doctor,” but having followed the present through the reworking of the series by executive producer John-Nathan Turner (mighty like Russell T. Davies reworking for the 21st cen. ) I was as invested in Davison’s portrayal as Baker’s. This particular season was maybe the darkest of the series history (up `til then, inspect the Attack of the Cybermen with the 6th Doctor), with shaded stories like Resurrection of the Daleks and the Caves of Androzani following this one, all with high body counts. “Warriors of the Deep” is plot, like many of this era in the futuristic twenty-first century where a deep undersea putrid is under attack. Unlike most stories in Doctor Who’s history the returning reptilians are unceremoniously revealed seconds into the demonstrate, as opposed to the extinct monster hiss at the closing minutes of the 1st share. Anyway, minus the loss of suspense, the creatures, like all returning monsters are all “80ed” up with body armor and latex. Another mystery revealed early is the entire notion of the baddies, followed by the Doctor’s discovery of an determined sage resolution minutes upon boarding the bad. This discovery is the Hexachromite gas which is serendipitously deadly to all reptile life.

The human characters aren’t particularly likeable (maybe it’s the glimpse shadow), partly by manufacture to form us more sympathetic towards the oppressed sea species, very remarkable the yell of the 80’s, if only Sting had arrived in time to obtain a back concert for them.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Doctor Who: Warriors of the Deep! Click Here

Unfortunately the “monster” characters are no more likeable, between the Sea Devils and the Silurians irregular voices their lines are hard to understand and all that costume and latex win all opportunity for any facial expressions from the characters. But, the Doctor’s companions aren’t free of blame, Tegan and Turlough (who are both intolerable at the best of times) immediately leave the Doctor for dumb deciding he’s drowned instantly because his fallen in some water at the episode’s cliffhanger. Turlough does counter this later by melodramatically offering that Tegan set herself while he scurries toward famous inconvenience (which unprejudiced seem contradictory, really.) Speaking of companions…where is Kamelion, the shape-shifting robot, who will abet as a position intention in “Planet of Fire? ”

Are his batteries uncouth?

One major complaint about this one is on the technical side, the Silurians secret weapon is an oversized sea monster which sets Doctor Who support decades! In what is a exquisite generous epic arc, with the return of some classic monsters, we have the “WORST CREATURE” presentation in I would dare to say the series multi-decade history (20 years at the point this was aired.) Bar none. The Myrka, as it is called looks like a scale pantomime lizard-horse, which is precisely what it is. Obviously, a couple of actors shuffling down halls, really well-light halls I might add. But to add insult to injury one character sees fit to disbatch this embarrassing creature in the most embarrassing manner, ninja-kick to the lizard gut!!! Pity considering the underwater unfavorable is one of the best sets of the season.

Over all this one honest mixes too many genres to work effectively. It seems unsure of weather it wants to be a stylized action adventure or meaty drama with apt emotional impact, resulting in flatly achieving neither. I adore the 5th Doctor’s final season but this one was poorly handled, even if it does round off a trilogy of prehistoric monster stories including: “The Silurians” and “The Sea Devils.” Both of those should be released along with this DVD. Spy for Doctor Who - Beneath The Surface (Doctor Who And The Silurians / The Sea Devils / Warriors Of The Deep) the boxed space.

Some Drinking games for Warriors of the Deep:

Drink whenever…

–Someone or something dies

–camera cuts to someone wearing too powerful make-up

—the flashy thing on the Silurian’s head flashes

–you lament your take

Honestly, this Doctor Who chronicle should have been one of the first of Peter Davison’s Doctor Who’s to be released to DVD. I wrong this one factual up there with Earthshock (which I believe is his overall best memoir) and The Visitation.

The Silurians and Sea Devils, together, return in a future Earth time period for the fine Doctor Who sage “Warriors of the Deep.” Their previous experience with humans has taught them that the human rush can not be trusted. They determine they have no alternative but to wipe out humanity once and for all in order to reclaim the world they once called home.

To do so, they assault and engage over an undersea missile nefarious to open a nuclear war that will demolish the “ape-primitives” with their gain weapons. This compelling record gives Peter Davison a chance to shine as a dramatic actor, with the Doctor not obvious who he is more exasperated with-the Silurians or the humans. Especially since in a sub-story, human agents from a rival power have also infiltraited the sea imperfect and unleash execute and treachery even amongst the Silurian and Sea Devil onslaught.

I really liked the fact that many of the human characters in the myth, even some of the so-called honorable guys, were not really all that likeable. They were cranky, glum, stubborn, and very rapid to threaten force on the Doctor and his friends to bag them to cooperate. Which makes total sense for characters who have been stuck in an undersea military cross for months on waste and are now under attack by unknown forces.

I also really liked the sets in this account. It seems they really assign a lot of time, energy, misfortune, and money into making the setting really inspect like a futuristic undersea spoiled. Legal down to substantial water tanks for reactor coolant, which they exhaust quite well in the tale.

Ultimately, the Doctor is forced to create a choice-either ruin the Silurians and Sea Devils or let them slaughter all of humanity? This is despite the fact that the Doctor sympathizes with the Silurians and knows the history of their disastrous encounters with humanity in the past. When the Doctor finally makes his choice, his feelings could best be summed up in the Doctor’s occupy simple, yet heartbreakingly spoken words, “there should have been another method.”

The release of “One Fragment The Movie 8 - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta” (let’s peruse how considerable paragraph station I can raze fair by typing that) is a valuable release for fans of the hit Japanese TV indicate “One Part,” which is one of the biggest hits in Japan since “Dragon Ball Z.” Here in America though it’s the most accepted series since “Shaman King,” another series that is also less favorite then it deserves to be. All things considered, “One Portion” should be more favorite then it is. Ever since Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies were released, pirates have been the thing. So a series about pirates, even one that feels more Tex Avery then Johnny Depp, should have been a clear thing.

Buy,Download, Or Stream One Piece - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta! Click Here

Though I don’t want to gather into the whole history of the expose, it was basically bought by a company called 4Kids Entertainment (makers of “The Cabbage Patch Kids”) and hurry through the editing machine so thoroughly, that it showed up on kids TV in a get that made it almost unrecognizable to it’s fans. One of my friends calls “One Fragment” his current note of all time, and this includes chronicle masterpieces like “Star Rush” and “Seinfield,” and his reaction to the editing of the point to was “I now know what a woman must feel like when she gets raped.” Yeah, that comment may be gross, but so were the changes to the note. Recently the rights of “One Fragment” were given to a company called Funimation Productions, the most known (ironically enough) for making “Dragon Ball Z” current in America.

Though the company had eight movies to grasp from, they decided to originate with “One Allotment The Movie 8 - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta” over the first movie. I reflect the reasoning for this was more political then it was fair because it was the latest movie to be made. People are watching Funimation, expecting their first release of “One Share” to be nothing short of perfection. This movie is actually an unfamiliar duck of the movies. It’s simply a retelling of one of the best arcs in the TV note, with better animation and music. Though intentions are superb, this makes it feel elegant out of area. It’s useless to newcomers who won’t fetch whats going on, and fans of the display may devour the better animation, but will want to stick with the TV episodes for being more fleshed out.

Buy,Download, Or Stream One Piece - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta! Click Here

For America though, this may be the release Funimation needed to exhibit the fans what it was going to do differently. As chance would have it, the arc that this movie retells was one of the last arcs to air on 4Kids TV. It was also the worst edited, changing what was one of the emotional climaxes of the exhibit into slush that would embarrass the writers of Barney. The final fight was especially illustrious for turning one of the shows most intense battles into nothing more then mindless chatter. “One Share The Movie 8 - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta” takes what was already an intense record of the reveal and pumps up the intensity and the violence well above what could even be shown on Japanese TV.

In this sense, it releasing this movie would not only exhibit how different Funimation’s translation of “One Fraction” is going to be, but it would also give people who may have only seen the edited TV showing something to compare it to. To explain this point even more, Funimation submitted the movie to the MPAA, where the movie received a PG-13 for “violence and some sexual instruct.” And violent it is. People who have only seen “One Section” on TV will survey a dissimilarity in the action correct away. How mighty more intense it is. How remarkable blood is spilt. How the characters not only catch cleave up, but how the silly relief character even gets his skull smashed in with a metal bat. The widescreen adds a bonus to the movie in that the fights are now given more depth and visuals, and it makes the action a highlight of the film.

That said, this is easily the worst “One Share” film of the bunch. While most of the other “One Share” movies are stand alone stories, taking one of the most loved epic arcs of the TV reveal and dwindling it down to ninety minutes is a tragedy. The account and characters aren’t developed enough to pick up emotionally connected to, and we are only truly entertained approach the very kill of the film, where Luffy has his chronicle fight with antagonist Crocodile. On top of the shallow condensing, the movie has this annoying habit of stopping the movie with oil painted frames of the same scene. Which…admittingly, looks wintry, but comes off as utterly pointless none-the-less. Though I can’t really recommend “One Share The Movie 8 - The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta,” I don’t reflect it ultimately matters.

And not because I feel people will say “Screw you, I’m going to purchase this anyway,” but because for all my complaints about the movie itself, it does what it sets out to do. That is, it gives us a peep at what the point to will be like under the arms of a different company, cast, and director. And while the dub for this movie is by no means perfect, it’s a Huge step up from what we’ve seen on TV! I feel “One Fraction” fans will survey this with mighty joy, because they will be watching the expose as it was supposed to be seen all this time. For some who’ve been watching it on TV, this will be a revelation to how powerful better the exhibit should have been, and now looks to be. Once we bag the novel episodes and movies, I reflect the importance of this one will slowly recede, but for now it does what it sets out to do.

How my ratings work:

5 - I really liked/loved it

4 - I liked it

3 - Could’ve been better/worth a look

2 - Unbiased didn’t live up to the potential

1 - Simply aweful

I unbiased saw this movie today with my friends. I’ve been a fan of One Fraction for a expedient while. I’ve yet to read the manga, but I plant to read it some day. This movie has everything you could want: action, comedy, drama, intense battles. I don’t need to go into the space since it’s mentioned above. The protest cast is outstanding, and it’s cold to gawk it all uncut (I’ve mainly seen it on tv) . If you fancy One Part, you’ll like this. If you’re a fan of anime, movies, and pirates, you should fancy it in general.

“Partying is Such Sweet Soriee” - 5/5 - A personal well-liked of mine, since it’s the first episode of “Foster’s” I ever saw. When Madam Foster and Frankie settle to go out one night, Bloo decides to throw a wild house party.

“The Large Lablooski” - 3/5 - Bloo, Mac and the gang join Madam Foster’s bowling team. Not one of my all-time favorites, but it has its moments, like Bloo’s desperate attempts at winning a paddleball from a claw machine.

“Where There’s a Wilt There’s a Way/Everyone Knows it’s Bendy” - 4/5 - A two-part episode. First there’s terrible Wilt. He can’t say no to anyone, no matter how considerable of an wretchedness it is for him. And then, when a modern guy, Bendy, comes to the house, he starts causing all kinds of problems. When Bloo decides to prove him for the troublemaker he is, he leaves quite a roam of destruction gradual him.

“Scrutinize For Sore Eyes/Bloo’s Brothers” - 4/5 - Another two parter. In the first segment, Ivan, a seeing-eye friend, has been separated from his kid. When Bloo and Mac determine to aid him, they extinguish up getting separated, as well. Next, when Mac takes Bloo to school for Note and Jabber, Bloo wows his classmates. So mighty in fact, that all the kids go home and develop their absorb, somewhat flawed version of our hero. When the copies find returned to the house, Mac can’t squawk which Bloo is his Bloo.

“Cookie Dough” - 3/5 - I can’t really remember too considerable about this episode, since I haven’t seen it in a while. I do know that Bloo is hilarious as a money-grubbing, slave-driving, entrepreneur.

“Frankie, My Dear” - 4/5 - When Bloo and Mac both effect crushes on Frankie, they resort to any means primary to maintain her away from other guys. This episode features the first appearance of Orlando Bloo.

“Mac Daddy” 5/5 - Who doesn’t already know what this episode is about? The premiere episode of Cheese, that outlandish, annoying friend that suddenly shows up in Mac’s bed. Colossal episode, especially since it shows Bloo caring about someone other than himself.

Squeakerboxxx” - 4/5 - After a day at the arcade, the gand decides to keep all their tickets together for a better surprise. They ruin up selecting `Harry Elefante’ (loved this!) . Too dreadful Bloo breaks the toy the first time he plays with it, and must work desperately to secure more tickets and regain another prize before the other’s realize it.

“Beat With a Schtick” - 3/5 - Bloo, being Bloo, manages to offend a rather expansive novel friend, who challenges him to a fight at 4 o’clock. It doesn’t aid that everyone else in the house is looking forward to Bloo’s challenge and is taking bets against him. A cute episode, but they’ve produced better.

“The Sweet Stench of Success” - 4/5 - After appearing in an `Adopt a Friend’ station on the news, Bloo becomes the mascot for DEO, a deodorant notice. Unfortunately for our dear friend, his unique manager isn’t that nice of a guy.

“Bye Bye Nerdy”- 4/5 - After seeing Mac doing homework during recess, Bloo is convinced that Mac is a nerd. Taking it upon himself to fabricate his friend cooler, Bloo turns Mac into a walking ad for 1987. A stout episode! I loved the 80’s jokes.

“Bloo Done It” - 5/5 - When Uncle Pockets, a beloved professional friend, returns to the house, Bloo is obvious to secure dirt on the guy. Using the house newspaper and his ace reporting skills, Bloo discovers a corrupt secret! As a student journalist, this episode really left me laughing. Bloo is quite possibly the best reporter ever. Not an ethical one, but serene…

–Frankie: “Sounds to me like someone’s jealous!”

–Bloo: “Not jealous, journalis…t.”

“My So-Called Wife” - 3/5 - While Mr. Herriman and Coco try to price an eccentric billionaire in order to procure funds for the house, Frankie and Mac try to jabber Bloo the attractive art of sarcasm. They don’t fare well…

Great indicate, large characters, immense storylines!! I can’t wait for the 3rd season and the introduction of Goo!

Wow, I treasure this point to! I was among the first to find Season 1, and now I’m so aroused about Season 2! The demonstrate can be picked up at any time, but in Season 1, we last saw Blooregard, called Bloo for short, causing all sorts of ruckus with his modern friends Wilt, Eduardo and Coco, who are also imaginary. Mac composed visits him every day and usually gets dragged unwillingly into the turmoil. And they all continue to have some of the greatest and most hilarious adventures together! Their friendships continue to strengthen, and we net to know some of the other characters, particularly Madame F.’s sweet granddaughter Frankie.

It didn’t approach with a cardboard slipcover like Season 1 did. I personally gawk the slipcover as a mark of class and quality, so this might be a bit of a downside. I also haven’t noticed any itsy-bitsy surprise features you have to search for (many times called “Easter Eggs” because you have to “hunt” for them) which is also a bit of a downside because they were fun to explore for, procure, and sight. They seem to have been replaced by petite appearances of Cheese before episodes inaugurate. But overall, the DVD and its case are gracious.

As for the episodes, they’re all titanic this season! Well, except maybe one IMHO. And they are——

-Disk One-

*The Tall Lablooski*

*Where There’s a Wilt There’s a Device / Everyone Knows It’s Bendy*

*Partying is such Sweet Soiree*

*Sight For Sore Eyes / Bloo’s Brothers*

*Cookie Dough*

*Frankie My Dear*

*Mac Daddy* With special commentary by Cheese

-Disk Two-

*Squeakerboxxx*

*Beat With A Schtick*

*Sweet Stench Of Success*

*Bye Bye Nerdy*

*Bloo Done It*

*My So-Called Wife*

Special features (on Disk 2) include—-

*Show promos* -I don’t ever engage seeing them aired on TV, but they’re basically ads for the reveal. Each features a different imaginary friend, including Bloo and Cheese, being video taped by Frankie, saying why they’d acquire a broad imaginary friend to anyone who might like to adopt them. Some of them are lovely humorous!

*An All Current “Gallery of Friends”* -A leer at the lesser known friends in the house

*End of Episode Gags* -The fun dinky scenes CN sometimes shows during the credits at the destroy of the episode

*”Cheesequest”* -A special “music video” featuring Cheese. This is actually a fun “short” rather than a music video. It has been aired on Cartoon Network a number of times already. It features Cheese imagining himself being sucked into a Nintendo-style video game, and hops, runs, flies and swims his scheme through, collecting points, all while fun video game music plays in the background.

*A Commentary on “Mac Daddy” by Cheese* -It turned out better than I expected, but I have to say I liked the commentary from “Store Wars” on the Season 1 DVD better. It will depend how you study at it as to if you’ll like it or not. Also depends on how noteworthy you like the character Cheese. Basically, Cheese comments on things on the cloak like you

might query a 3 year obsolete to. If you consider you’d net the comments of a 3 year primitive humorous while watching TV, you might bag the commentary cute. If you’d obtain it annoying, you might not like the commentary so considerable. I personally found it cute, but it objective wasn’t as laughable as the commentary on Season 1.

And now, I search for forward to Season 3! Bring it ON!!! =)

Inevitably this is being called a copycat to Man Bites Dog - Criterion Collection but I feel this has some of its maintain flavor, to consume a abominable word, in creating a domestic acquire on the “genre”. I would recommend giving this one a shapely shot, and even though they win the depraved-to-be as another video store clerk stereotype, I unexcited enjoyed the premise and performances.

The film mixes a “documentary” (talking to the camera/stage audience like a self assist guru) - and fictional (camera does not exist) leer into this guys homicidal life as he recruits a protege to pass on his serial killer skills. The tale splices this interview-the-people-in-the-main-guys-life with the murdering events as they occur. Sometimes it feels long, but in the slay you gain passe to what they are doing with the film and it keeps a decent chase, especially gleaming what the outcome has to be.

The sound is righteous and the represent has a high budget feel. The supplements are 20 minutes of deleted scenes divided into the same amount of headings, but they thankfully have a play all option. I had to actually give this 3.5 star film an extra half objective on the management of these scenes. They are mostly all interviews, and would have paced the film more being towards a farce than a mockumentary so it was nice to notice them spliced out. There were one or two that would have been better left in with positive kills, but for being a relatively unique crew, they did a nice job. Hope you savor.

The film is DEFINITELY not for everyone, as neither the slasher crowd or comedy-only crowd will be completely joyful. It is more of a current select on the view of showing a self-help film like no other. I almost feel like putting it in the self-help part to discover who freaks out on me.

The trailer and the one come scene I got to gawk search for very icy! I’ve already ordered my copy.

One of the best movies/series I have ever seen; the fable is legend and well-told, and the acting and cinematography are incredible.

What I liked best was the ambivalent nature of all of the main characters, not the two-dimensional cardboard cut-outs typically encountered in movies (and series) . Shaka, while certainly a immense leader, warrior, and king, is also certainly an utterly ruthless, blood-stained tyrant; this production does an fabulous job of illustrating these and other facets of the man. As other reviewers heed, Henry Cele was honest improbable in this role.

The English characters were also portrayed well; the leader, Lt. Farewell, is depicted as a well-intentioned rogue seeking ivory, but ultimately his relationship with Shaka changes him. Normally he might not be a very sympathetic character, but compared to the British colonial officials in Capetown, he is practically a paragon of wisdom and virtue. The Scottish doctor meanwhile attempts with rather small success to school Shaka in the tenents of the Christian faith–Shaka has a diagram of turning all of the doctor’s earnest efforts completely backwards.

Finally, a comment about the stout fraction of the series devoted to Shaka’s birth and childhood–it is Shakespeare and Greek tragedy rolled into one–prophecies, witchcraft, parricide, regicide, vengeance, like, war, etc. Very very engrossing.

When Nandi and her unborn child are saved by the outmoded witch doctor, he proclaims: “A force has been generated that in time will rock the foundation of the African sub-continent.”

Indeed the prophecy shaped the event and Shaka was the ruthless founder of southern Africa’s Zulu Empire… In less than a decade, the paramount chieftain of the Zulu clan revolutionized the techniques of tribal warfare and fashioned an efficient and repugnant fighting force that devastated the entire dwelling…

Set against the emergence of British power in Africa during the early 19th Century, the film provides some important insights into comparative cultures…

Shaka (Henry Cele) is a man of distinguished height, thin, with athletic body and white teeth who can read and write… He is a stout warrior, tactically, strategically and physically… He rearms his army with a long-bladed, short-shafted stabbing spear, which forced them to fight at end quarters… He goes for extermination, incorporating the remnants of the clans he smashed into the Zulu, making it increase with numbers and power..

The Mini-Series begins with a letter to the British king (George IV) regarding the Zulus’ potential threat to the Cape Colony… In an attempt to intimidate Shaka into an alliance with the British empire, the Secretary of War sends a delegation to inner African to meet with the apprehensive warrior…

We gape :

- The meeting of Nandi, an orphaned princess of the neighboring Langeni clan and Senzangakona, the chief of the then runt Zulu tribe… They are instantly attracted to each other… Nandi becomes pregnant, at the same time as Kona’s wife, but the marriage did not last… Their marriage violated Zulu custom, and the stigma of this extended to the child…

- The couple separated when Shaka was six, and Nandi took her son serve to the Langeni, where he passed a fatherless boyhood among a people who despised his mother and made him the butt of endless cruel pranks… He grew up to be bitter and furious, hating his tormentors… The Langeni drove Nandi out, and she finally found shelter with the Dletsheni, a subclan of the much Mtetwa…

- Shaka ruled with an iron hand from the beginning, distributing instant death for the slightest opposition…

- While en route to Shaka’s capital, the crew’s doctor saves a girl who is in a coma and nearly buried alive by her tribe… Impressed by both the deed and their horses, Shaka agrees to meet with the crew… And so begins the clash of two cultures, two different worlds…

- Shaka, seriously wounded for saving an unknown warrior (King Dingiswayo), is nursed to health by a aesthetic Mtwetwa girl…

- Shaka, believing in total annihilation, joins the Mtwetwa army and creates a risky weapon for the African warfare…

- Shaka grants Port Natal, with its ivory rights, to the British crew after he is saved by the crew’s doctor from an assassination attempt…

- Shaka’s powerful army saving the British delegation in a battle against thousands of Ndwandwe warriors… To test the alliance and allegiance of the British delegation, Shaka orders them into battle alone against the Ndwandwe warriors…

- With his mother’s death Shaka becomes openly psychotic… Thousands are killed in the initial paroxysm of his distress…

- Shaka rules by the sheer force of his personality, building, by scores of daily executions, a fright so profound that he could afford to ignore it…

Set against the spectacular panorama of the Zulu tribal homelands, and with graphic violence and frequent nudity, “Shaka Zulu” is a titanic narrative Mini-Series, chronicling the rise and tumble of one of the most notorious South Africans who has already passed into story…

Being such a fan of the first movie with its droll timing, worthy direction that Michael always brings (Though Pearl Harbor was crap) and a expansive come by (yet is sounds suspiciously like Speed’s Hmmmmmm) anyway…i was surprised to accept that I loved the second one even more…and the freeway trudge scene rivals The Matrix Reloaded (Yes I said it!!) I mediate everything was better because Will Smith had more time to work on his comic/action skills between these films, and Michael definetly knows how to play to HIS audience as does Jerry Bruckhiemer. And the camera work in this film was turned up to 11! the 360 degree shooting scene going from room to room through bullet shots! GENIOUS! I definetly can observe this film spawning at least one more sequel and is the Letha Weapon of our generation….with lots more blood and a more hardcore style of comedy.

… Well I finally got to witness Terrible Boys 2 a few weeks ago and I was very gay. I can’t wait for the dvd to near out.

The movie is ACTION packed to say the least. There is action, brief nudity, a lot of cursing, violent and digusting killings, and a lot of drugs. It is not a kid’s movie and I was disapointed to peruse how many people brought their kids with them to scrutinize this movie.

Anyway, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence develop a gigantic team and yes their jokes were sometimes annoying and dry but not enough to be overshadowed by the really comical scenes. I liked the first Poor Boys film but I really feel that the sequel is distinguished better. I would not be surprised to search for a third installment.

I recommend it for girly girls…its blueprint too honorable.
